Future Light: Vision of an Integrated World Society

Humanity’s developing relationship with light has the potential to establish a future world society based on an organismic rather than a mechanistic world view. While light is generally understood in terms of its physical properties, light is also the essence of consciousness – traditionally associated with religion and spirituality. What is the bridge that can span the divide between the two and establish a world society based on sharing and right human relationships?

The Illumined Mind: Healing, Connection and Expansion through Psychology and Meditation

Dr. Michelle Pearce

Michelle Pearce is the former Director of the Mindfulness Program and Integrative Health Psychologist at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Vanderbilt University. She will discuss the way in which scientific approaches and programs in psychology and meditation create illumined and focused awareness that brings about healing and expansion of the mind.
