The Great Invocation is well known in all parts of the world and is predicted to become a world prayer for the new age.

The fact of great centres of energy within the planet is also becoming established as a practical and reasonable possibility. The spiritual Hierarchy of the planet, “the point of Love within the Heart of God”, is accepted by many. It can become a living reality for increasing numbers of dedicated men and women who love and serve humanity.

Now we are facing the possibility of approach to “the centre where the
Will of God is known”, Shamballa. Shamballa is the planetary head centre as Hierarchy is the planetary heart.
It focusses the purpose and the will of God, as the Hierarchy focusses the love and wisdom of Deity.

We cannot wisely use the power of the spiritual will until we have learned to love selflessly and to have compassion and understanding for all peoples.
The power to love and to live according to spiritual values and principles
expands consciousness, evokes the soul and opens the way to an understanding of divine will and purpose.

Key Thoughts

Shamballa is simply a word conveying the idea of a vast focal point of energies which are assembled and brought together by the planetary Logos in order to create a manifestation adequate to His unfolding intention and planetary service.

Shamballa is a state of consciousness or a phase of sensitive awareness wherein there is acute and dynamic response to divine purpose.

Shamballa is the place of purpose. It is a purpose which cannot be understood until the Plan is known.

Shamballa is not a Way, but a major centre of related states and a relatively static energy – energy held ready for creative purposes by the focussed intention of the Great Council, acting under the directing eye of the Lord of the World.

Shamballa is the major point of tension upon the planet. It is a tension that expresses loving intelligent will, free from all self-will or mental bias.

Shamballa is the major receptive agent upon the planet, from the angle of solar inflow, but at the same time it is the main distribution point of energy from the angle of the kingdoms in nature, including the fifth kingdom. From the point of tension the life pattern of the planetary Logos and His will become embodied and finally matured through the process of evolution.

Shamballa is the head centre, speaking symbolically, of our planetary Life, focussing will, love and intelligence in
one great and fundamental Intention and holding that focussed point throughout the entire life cycle of the planet. This great Intention embodies purpose and expresses itself through the medium of the Plan.

The only place of complete peace is
“the centre where the Will of God is known”.

Peace, as the expression of the will
of Shamballa, produces balance, equilibrium, synthesis and under-standing, plus a spirit of invocation. This demonstrates as the first great creative and magical work of which humanity is capable, swinging, as it does, all the three divine aspects into
a simultaneous activity in line with
the will of God.

The Shamballa Force

The Shamballa force, the fire of the
will-to-good, is available for right usage but the power to express it lies in its understanding and its group use.

During the twentieth century, this force made its first direct impact upon humanity. It had reached humanity previously after being stepped down and modified by the great planetary centre, the Hierarchy. A direct impact took place in 1975 and in 2000.
Each time this energy strikes into human consciousness, some fuller aspect of the divine Plan appears. It is the energy which brings about synthesis, which holds all things within the circle of divine love. Since these impacts, human thinking has been
more concerned with the production of unity and the attainment of synthesis in all human relations than ever before, and one result of this energy was the forming of the United Nations.

The Shamballa energy is related to the livingness (through consciousness and form) of humanity. It concerns the establishing of right human relations
and is that influence which opens human minds to the reality of the Plan of love and light.

The will aspect can be contacted only
from the mental plane and only those, therefore, who are working with and through the mind can begin to appropriate this energy. Those who respond to the Shamballa force are approaching close to the energy of fire. Fire is the symbol and the quality of the mental plane; it is an aspect of the divine nature.

Three great energies are focussed in Shamballa, the seat of fire:

1. The Energy of Purification: This is the power, innate in the manifested universe, which gradually and steadily adapts the substance aspect to the spiritual. It involves the elimination of all that hinders the nature of divinity from full expression.

2. The Energy of Destruction: This is a destruction which removes or changes the forms which imprison the inner spiritual life, and hide the inner soul light.

3. The Energy of Organisation: This is the energy which started the impulse which produced manifestation. The relation of spirit and matter cyclically and under law creates the manifested world as a field for soul development and as an area wherein divine purpose is wrought out through the medium of the Plan.

The Shamballa force therefore focusses the will-to-good, leading to right human relationship, and establishing peace on Earth.

Co-operation with the Will-to-Good

Today the powerful first ray activity of will or purpose is sweeping into action with increasing effect upon the minds and the “little wills” of human beings. Response is compatible with the quality of these minds and the intention of human will.

As a demonstration of the beneficent
will of God, this potent energy tends
to destroy all forms that hinder the emergence of a new and better world;
it acts as a synthesising force binding together all separated units of life
and consciousness. It has a profound effect on the political field, and in
the consciousness of those concerned with all aspects of government in the
nations of the world.

The energy of Shamballa is a demonstration of the will of God in potent livingness. The will-to-good is animating the entire evolutionary process, a process in which humanity can today intelligently participate. Active and effective co-operation can be provided in group meditation. The theme of the will-to-good, the revelation of divine will and group receptivity and distribution of the Shamballa force as a stabilising, synthesising energy in the world of human affairs, can create a potently evocative meditation focus.

The spiritual Hierarchy of the planet is itself concerned with the impending impact on human consciousness of the Shamballa force. Now large numbers
of men and women in group formation can co-operate consciously in meditation with the Hierarchy in this planetary event, and by the regular, purposeful use of the Great Invocation.
