Center for Inter-Religious & Communal Leadership Education (CIRCLE)

Founded in 2008 the Center is a combined initiative of Andover Newton Theological School and Hebrew College. CIRCLE’s mission is to “help prepare religious and ethical leaders for service in a religiously diverse society.” CIRCLE points out “it is our conviction that through study, dialogue, and joint action, we can help to heal and transform the world”.

Every year, CIRCLE encourages and supports multi-faith peer groups through the initiative of the colleges’ students. The peer groups focus on Jewish – Christian – Muslim texts, shared study and reflection, and shared celebration and mutual friendships.

One Health Organisation (OHO)

OHO’s approach to improving world health is fourfold: individual engagement, community collaboration, ethical business and systemic change. Through these four pillars, OHO engages individuals in “community work, supports other social ventures to achieve their goals, transitions business and corporations to a social enterprise approach, and advocates at a national and international level for equitable, sustainable and integrative healthcare policy.”

Institute for New Economic Thinking

The Institute was created to widen and accelerate the development of new economic thinking that can lead to solutions for the major challenges of the twenty first century.

The Institute supports a fundamental shift in economic thinking through such initiatives as research funding, community building, and spreading the word about the need for change. It is a global community of thousands of new economic thinkers, ranging from Nobel Prize winning economists to teachers and students.

The Institute writes: “This ‘new economic thinking’ has the potential to profoundly impact society in areas ranging from government policy and financial system reform, to solving climate change, poverty and inequality, and driving sustainable growth in the long run. In other words, new economic thinking can enable a better world for all.”
