Foundation for International Collaboration

The Foundation for International Collaboration is a new initiative in the UK whose mission is developing human potential; peace and reconciliation; justice; and leadership. The Foundation explains: “If we, as individuals, change the way we think and collaborate to a common positive goal, we can achieve exciting things, addressing today’s world challenges. We strongly believe that through collaboration we can achieve far more than if we act as individuals – to quote the old adage: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

The Foundation believes that positive developments can only be achieved if individuals are motivated to make a positive change in their own lives and in the greater whole. The Foundation aims to bring individuals and organisations together in order to map out a more positive future for all.

Using their connections with governments, the Foundation will act as a clearing house for skills and resources, working with individuals, delivery agencies and funders. The group comments: “We are building a pool of skilled people, experiences, knowledge and abilities to help address challenges in the most effective way.”

The Foundation has organised several events in 2014 to publicise its work.

Godspeed Institute for Spiritual Learning

The Godspeed Institute was founded in 2001. The Institute is dedicated to promoting spiritual life skills and religious tolerance.

Its purpose is to communicate and educate about all the world’s spiritual and religious paths to meaning and connection; to provide sanctuary for the spiritual heritage of humanity; to promote the necessity of spiritual values, principles, ideas and practices in all affairs; to help all people find peace, joy and real prosperity through spiritual principles and practices; to promote and foster religious tolerance and celebration of all faiths; and to create opportunities that encourage humanity toward balance of mind, body, spirit and heart.

Each week the Institute hosts a Radio Program which explores the world’s religious and spiritual traditions as an ‘on-air classroom’ to help people understand each other and to promote tolerance and foster peace. Recent programs have included interviews with Gloria Crook who founded The School of Ageless Wisdom in the USA, William Bloom, a well known author and educator in modern spirituality, and Tim Boyd, president of the Theosophical Society in America.

The Institute explains: “We celebrate and educate, sharing the wealth of our diverse spiritual heritage as a source of knowledge, a path leading toward tolerance, and a way for all people to learn about and strengthen spiritual life skills.”
