“STRENGTHENING THE HANDS OF THE NEW GROUP OF WORLD SERVERS”
Meditation is the primary form of service for those following a spiritual path. It is a means of cooperation and alignment with hierarchical intent. The new moon period follows upon the cycle of out-breathing in the rhythmic cycles of the breath; it is a time of pause wherein together we can establish a soul-mind-brain alignment. During this period we work in thought to concretize the ideas and impressions received at the time of the full moon period and undertake the sometimes difficult process of translating them into practical plans that can be of service in the world. The effect of this meditative effort is to enhance the many ways in which the “power of the one Life” and the “love of the one soul” are working out through all true servers everywhere. The meeting will be held in the library of our offices at 866 United Nations Plaza, Suite 482 on the fourth floor and will include an exploration on the theme The Ninth Seed Group: Financial Servers, followed by group discussion and meditation. The Ninth Seed Group: Financial Servers
When we think of financial services, we mostly imagine big banks, lending institutions, and insurance companies. The services that these companies offer us do indeed make the world go ‘round, as money and credit have replaced the goods that humanity once either took from the lower kingdoms of the Earth or used in barter. It’s hard to imagine how humanity would survive if the flow of money suddenly stopped. The many networks of human interaction on which our survival depends would crumble, and today few of us have the skills to survive without money, as our ancestors did. So while the common understanding of the financial service industries is that they are mired in materialism and greed, they are in fact essential to our physical survival.
When we think of financial servers, however, perhaps we can imagine something different. Financial servers belong to the Ninth Seed Group, “whose project is financial service, one of the most practical and interesting from the standpoint of the present world situation and modern conditions,” writes the Tibetan. What makes it practical is described above. What makes it interesting is how directly money symbolizes energy and how brightly this energy shines. We see many examples of workers in the financial services using their skills to invest in human development, in line with the Plan. Esoterically, we can study the energy of money and observe how it either increases or diminishes goodwill in the world. Such a study can in itself be called a financial service.
