“STRENGTHENING THE HANDS OF THE NEW GROUP OF WORLD SERVERS”
Meditation is the primary form of service for those following a spiritual path. It is a means of cooperation and alignment with hierarchical intent. The new moon period follows upon the cycle of out-breathing in the rhythmic cycles of the breath; it is a time of pause wherein together we can establish a soul-mind-brain alignment. During this period we work in thought to concretize the ideas and impressions received at the time of the full moon period and undertake the sometimes difficult process of translating them into practical plans that can be of service in the world. The effect of this meditative effort is to enhance the many ways in which the “power of the one Life” and the “love of the one soul” are working out through all true servers everywhere. The meeting will include an exploration on the theme The Gift of Understanding, followed by meditation and group discussion. Service and the Creative Potential of Meditation
New Moon in December
Meditation, defined broadly, is the ability “to engage in contemplation or reflection” and has, as its goal, the ability to bring spiritual ideas into forms suitable for human comprehension. It is “the outstanding creative agent on our planet.”
Today, the New Group of Servers has become a major center of planetary meditation. This group is composed of spiritually aligned men and women around the world whose inner and outer lives are organized around deep reflection on the problems of humanity and what can be done to reach a solution. Through the creative use of the mind in meditation, these men and women penetrate into the realm of the soul and bring forth divine energy for human use, each in their chosen field of human enterprise.
Meditation grants the ability to cooperate in the creative and redemptive purposes of our planetary life. As a group, one’s capacity to register, interpret, and apply the fruits of one’s knowledge in service to one’s fellow men is strengthened. At the New Moon, we link our hearts and minds, taking our stand as members of this great mediating center within our planetary life.
