All groups seeking to serve humanity, whether they are aware of it or not, respond to cyclic rhythms in the unfolding evolutionary story. This is reflected in the most obvious rhythms of nature: full moon and new moon for example, or solstices and equinoxes. These outer cycles reflect inner events and, from an esoteric perspective, mark the rise and fall of crisis points of service opportunity.

Mediation – The Heart Of Service - December 2019

Imagine a battlefield. Between two foes, temporarily withdrawn, stands a torn and wasted landscape. Right in the middle, a lone figure appears – a mediator. The mediator’s goal – to build a true and lasting peace. How does this happen?

Consider first where the mediator stands – at the midway point. Then, reflect on how, if the mediator is raised above this point, he or she can see revealed not just the opposing forces, but also the landscape surrounding them. Extending this image a little further, we might say that it’s important the mediator is not raised too far above the opponents, as then their points of view might become lost in the wider context. The symbol of the equilateral triangle seems the best compromise.

The Opportunity Of Capricorn - December 2019

The great swing in Capricorn is epitomised by the keywords. Upon the ordinary wheel these are, “And the word said:  let ambition rule and let the door stand wide.” This is the key to the evolutionary urge and the secret of rebirth. When a true sense of reality supersedes both earthly and spiritual ambition the man can say with truth, “lost am I in light supernal, yet on that light I turn my back.” So goes the world disciple, initiate in Capricorn, on his way to serve humanity in Aquarius. In that sign he cleans the Augean stables (of the karma of all past ignorance and error, the Dweller on the Threshold) and so becomes in Pisces a world saviour.

Sharing Group Thought - December 2019

I began participating in the work of the Triangles Organisation several years ago now.  My experience of the work will probably be unique to me, but others may resonate to it.

For the first few years, I knew it was work I should continue with, but always felt that I wasn't really being that useful and might be letting my fellow workers down. However, I believed that my usefulness would intensify if I persisted and I now know that is what has happened. Visualisation, which I struggle with, has improved and with repetition, becomes easier.  I also know that it is an ongoing process which will continue improving.      UK
