Attuning to WonderHeadquarters Group
A summary of the salient points that emerged from January’s Lucis Trust Webinar “Attuning to Wonder”, along with further reflections on ‘wonder’ in relation to the “hidden vision.”

The Old English wundor, might be cognate with the German Wunde or wound. It would thus suggest a breach in the membrane of awareness, a sudden opening in a man's system of established and expected meanings, a blow as if one were struck or stunned. To be wonderstruck is to be wounded by the sword of the strange event, to be stabbed awake by the striking.”   Howard L Parsons

The Sacred Inner Lodge of all True Masons  Steve Nation

Spiritual esotericists in the religious faiths, occult movements, and the Masonic fraternity are challenged by the injunction to express the quality of the Hidden Vision.  All have a role to play in today’s critical work of raising the ‘dead body’ of humanity to new life. As they perform their labours of timeless, rhythmic ritual Masonic Orders are to elevate to a new point of tension their witnessing of those “inner spiritual realities which underlie the outer symbolic forms”.

Steve Nation is a Trustee of the Lucis Trust.

Break of 20 minutes.

Expressing the Hidden Vision: The Arts in Education – Eva Sater

“Great art and literature have always belonged to the world.  It is upon these facts that the education to be given to the children of the world must be built—upon our similarities, our creative achievements, our spiritual idealisms, and our points of contact.  Unless this is done the wounds of the nations will never be healed and the barriers which have existed for centuries will never be removed.”    A.A. Bailey,  Education in the New Age, p 46.

An art teacher by training, Eva Sater is currently researching how spirituality finds representation in children's literature.
