Challenges of Discipleship

As we transition to the Aquarian Age, disciples are learning new ways of working in groups. Many challenges arise as the lessons of cooperating with the Plan, developing the powers of the soul, and serving humanity are integrated, and the glamours that arise are handled. Three students share their own reflections on their personal challenges to discipleship.

Preparation for Externalization of the Hierarchy

By living the dual life, the disciple, in alignment with the group, lives at the center of the even-armed cross of discipleship—drawing inspiration from above and becoming a radiating center in service to the Plan. Through this means the disciple plays their part in the midst of the stimulation of the unfolding externalization.

  • On the Evolving role of the NGWS - Albert McEntire
  • Audience Discussion

Group Service and the Demonstration of Sound and Light

The disciple seeks to develop a consciousness of the group and to demonstrate a quality of service. He or she is not concerned with appearance or tangibility so much as the demonstration of the subjective or the intangible. This session looks at this ‘demonstration of the intangible’ in the context of group discipleship service.

  • The Theory of the Evolution of Light - Mayte Gomez
  • Panel Discussion - Michael Galloway, Mintze van der Velde, Larry McKenna, Mayte Gomez
