We’re working now with the waning energies of the higher interlude period, moving towards the summer solstice on Wednesday.  The keynote for Gemini is “I recognize my other self and in the waning of that self, I grow and glow.” As we ponder these words, we contribute to building them into the fabric of human consciousness, thereby conditioning events.  Let’s take a few minutes to explore this keynote and its relationship to the work of Triangles.  Gemini is a major sign of duality and, in fact, performs the function of uniting the pairs of opposites.  As opposites are brought into union imbalances are resolved and soul light pours in, conferring expanded vision and the ability to see things from a deepened perspective by considering another point of view.  One major union or interplay that is fostered through this influence is that of the merging that is possible at this time between the fifth kingdom in nature, Hierarchy, and the human kingdom through the intermediary of the God-man, the World Teacher.

No spiritual group is an ‘island’, each interacts and relates to other serving groups, inwardly and outwardly. Lines of light link server with server, and group with group, and although working in a myriad of ways and using different methodologies, wielding energies of varying hues and potency, formulating distinctive patterns of thought, and addressing diverse spheres of work, yet all are an intrinsic and integral part of the world group. Serving the common good is their shared goal and purpose.

World Invocation Day, observed for the past 65 years at the time of the Gemini full moon, was commemorated this past Friday, June 9th. Each year on that day people of all spiritual and religious persuasions all over the world come together in thought to sound the Great Invocation in the hope of summoning the higher spiritual energies expressed in this beautiful prayer and so needed by humanity at this time of great challenge and crisis. The Great Invocation is also the central focus of our service in Triangles, for in this work we sound the Invocation with our Triangles partners and with the global Triangles network of which we are a part with the intention to summon the energies of Light, Love, and Will for the benefit of the planet.

As we know, Triangles is part of the divine Plan. It is an aspect of that Plan and through means of our participation in this group activity we become part of and aligned with this Plan and aid in its realization, in its working out on Earth.  The Plan becomes real and living to us, not an abstraction.  And this Plan and its working out — as illustrated in the work of the Great Invocation and of Triangles — is related to the fundamental concept of the Triangle —as it works out within our solar system, within our planet, within the kingdoms of nature, within our groups and within ourselves. All these different layers of reality consist of Triangles that contain the three aspects of Spirit, soul and form--or Life, Quality and Appearance.

Today we are in the preparatory two-day period before the full moon of Taurus and the festival of Wesak. The climax of the full moon is on Wednesday at 22.42 GMT and 05.42 Eastern time in the US. The importance of this Festival to Buddhists is well known, but the Ageless Wisdom teachings provide us with a deeper insight into the significance of this Festival, and places it in a universal spiritual context.
