Meditation is the primary form of service for those following a spiritual path. It is a means of cooperation and alignment with hierarchical intent. The new moon period follows upon the cycle of outbreathing in the rhythmic cycles of the breath; it is a time of pause wherein together we can establish a soul-mind-brain alignment. During this period we work in thought to concretize the ideas and impressions received at the time of the full moon period and undertake the sometimes difficult process of translating them into practical plans that can be of service in the world. The effect of this meditative effort is to enhance the many ways in which the “power of the one Life” and the “love of the one soul” are working out through all true servers everywhere.

The Power of Right Speech, and the Power of Sound
New Moon in December

How does an individual or a group intent on creating a world of right relations reach those who are standing just on the verge of revelation? We’re told that the power of right speech and the power of sounds put forth with clarity and backed with compassion can so impact others that internal mechanisms can be re-aligned, causing them to come into greater sync with a growing multitude of like-minded men and women.

Right speech requires a balanced mind with full understanding of purpose – one which perceives truth, and then condenses that truth into a few lighted words. It is in this simplicity of perception and purpose that a radiating field of resulting action will be found.

Sagittarius clarifies and deepens our understanding of the goal. It eliminates extremes and ushers in reason. This is a time of simplifying and of regenerating, using the finely-honed power of the enlightened mind as an arrow to the sun. We will explore this work from an individual as well as a group perspective, noting examples of right speech and right sound in the collective spaces where global conversations take place.
