“Today, in the planning now going forward in connection with the various international conferences and councils…the spiritual effort (for the first time in human history) is to bring all of them, as functioning groups, under the direct impact of the energy which motivates and actuates that place where the Will of God is known and the purposes of divinity are defined and projected. This means that each of the coming world conferences (and there will necessarily be many) will have a greater and far more extensive effect than would otherwise be the case.”
World Goodwill’s Cycle of Conferences project is a worldwide meditation group that joins together in a visualisation to help spiritually enlighten the atmosphere on which world conferences vital to humanity’s spiritual progress depend. This service initiative involves group invocation of the divine will and its direction as the will-to-good in the build up to a selected conference, preparing in advance the right spiritual atmosphere in which it can take place. The group imaginatively projects a lighted seed of ‘will energy’ and develops it into a pulsating heart centre radiating the light, love and power of the Great Invocation throughout the event and its participants. Through visualisation, this preparatory nucleus of light can frequently be brought under the gaze of the mind’s eye and its inner fire fed with ideas resulting from meditation upon the topic that the conference is focusing.
During the preparatory period for each conference (usually 1-2 weeks beforehand) a visualisation will be posted on this page, and registered participants will be notified by an email which contains a short reflection on the spiritual significance of the upcoming conference.
The Cycle of Conferences is currently on hiatus. The last conference focused was the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies" from 9 to 18 July 2018.
