As we may know, every sound is made up of a number of partial tones, much like each color can be divided into a number of partial colors. These partial tones have a strict mathematical law. Thus, the main or root note is accompanied by the octave, the perfect fifth, the double octave, hereafter the major third, the perfect fifth, the minor seventh, the triple octave and further ever smaller intervals, until they are no longer possible to define in our western tone system. We soon find ourselves in the so-called astral octave. These higher overtones have hardly any significance for physical hearing, because their energetic contribution is very small.

Invocation is a fundamental element of the Triangles work. The spiritual energies of Light, Love and Enlightened Will are invoked. They are called forth. These energies are available from the reservoirs which lie at the core of our being. 

Mind, heart, will. Each of these regions of the self are multi-layered. Each contains depths and heights and throughout the ages, spiritual paths inside and outside of established religions have spoken of the ways of accessing the higher dimensions where they can be known as wisdom, poise, tranquility, serenity, ‘the peace that passeth understanding’. These are real dimensions of our being. And they can be consciously called forth – or invoked.

A frequent way for many people to deal with [the anxieties that are so prevalent in the world today] is to retreat into denial – the ostrich putting his head in the sand. This is the road to failure. Another way is to fatalistically accept what seems as inevitable, which in practical terms is a denial of what human intelligent creativity and ingenuity can do. Another way is to put an unreasonable faith in the Hierarchy to wave their magic wand and instantly put everything right. This is really a denial of the responsibility we all have to put right our mistakes ourselves.
