Es ist für den Jünger in Ausbildung nicht leicht, den Sinn für Synthese und den Gebrauch des Willens miteinander in Beziehung zu bringen und sich darüber klar zu werden, dass eine Kultivierung dieser Wahrnehmung des ersten Strahls eine wirksame Art ist, auf welche die höchsten Aspekte des geistigen Willens (die bis jetzt noch unentwickelt in ihm sind) entfaltet werden können.

Das Opfer ist, technisch gesehen, das Erreichen eines Zustandes der Glückseligkeit und der Ekstase, weil es die Verwirklichung eines anderen göttlichen Aspekts ist, der bisher sowohl von der Seele als auch von der Persönlichkeit verborgen war. Es ist das Verstehen und Erkennen des Willens zum Guten, der die Schöpfung möglich und unvermeidlich machte und der die wahre Ursache der Manifestation war. Denken Sie darüber nach, denn es unterscheidet sich in seiner Bedeutung sehr von den üblichen Konzepten bezüglich des Opfers.

Der Wille ist im Grunde ein Ausdruck des Opfergesetzes. Paradoxerweise haben wir festgestellt, dass es so etwas wie Opfer nicht gibt, wenn sich der geistige Wille - wenn auch nur in geringem Maße - ausdrückt.

Ihr werdet bereits bemerkt haben - da Sie die Invokation studiert haben -, dass die drei großen Zentren auf unserem Planeten miteinander verbunden sind: Shamballa, "wo der Wille Gottes bekannt ist", die Hierarchie, wo Christus regiert und von wo aus er einen engeren Kontakt zu den Menschen sucht, und das Zentrum, das wir Menschheit nennen. Es besteht ein enger Zusammenhang zwischen der ersten und der letzten Strophe; die Bestimmung der Menschheit besteht, wie ihr wisst, darin, Exponent des Geistes Gottes zu sein, also aktive Intelligenz zum Ausdruck zu bringen, die von der Liebe motiviert und vom Willen umgesetzt wird.

Diese Umwandlung wird neue Kräfte und die Fähigkeit erwecken, Opfer zu bringen, universell zu denken, eine klarere Gesamtschau und einen Geist der Zusammenarbeit zu entwickeln, der bisher unbekannt war. Hier wird zum ersten Mal das große Prinzip des Teilhabenlassens praktisch zum Ausdruck gebracht werden, das heute so dringend erforderlich ist.

Sacred Childhood: Education and the Will-to-Good: – George Bargilis

The root of the word ‘sacrifice’ is Sacer," to make holy, or to make whole.” George Bargilis discusses this aspect of the conference keynote in connection with his initiatives in holistic education. He is the Managing Director of the American Academy School in Limassol, Cyprus. The school is a multicultural community that educates children from kindergarten age up to university entrance. All children are involved in charity work with the emphasis of their education being placed on “Wisdom above all in a loving and caring environment for every child.”

The Rosy Cross and the Golden Bird:

"Having pervaded the worlds with a fraction of Myself, I remain."  Such is the theme of the soul's endeavour, and such is the spirit which must underlie all creative work.  In this thought lies the clue to the symbol of the Law of Sacrifice—a rosy cross with a bird flying over it.  This is the loved cross (rose being the colour of affection), with the bird (symbol of the soul) flying free in time and space.

Shideh Pouria, Anahita Idani and Nazanin Zohdi reflect on the remarkable sacrifices of the protesters in Iran's most recent uprising. No longer accepting of authoritarianism, paternalism and religious intolerance, the collective will is demonstrating in a rising up and a giving of all for freedom, brotherhood, justice and a future with dignity for all.

The Right Concentration of Power: Pathways to Spiritual Governance – Swaan Barrett and Michael Brehme

What is the “Right Concentration of Power” that can fulfil the directive given in the Great Invocation: Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth?  Unmanaged globalization has resulted in too much power becoming concentrated in the realm of economics and finance. Does the spirit of cosmopolitan democracy indicate a path out of this towards a future “global governance of the people, by the people, for the people” – global governance without world government?  In 2021 a global citizen’s assembly was organised to coincide with the United Nations Climate Change Conference – the first body that can claim to democratically represent the “Will” of the global population.

Through her initiative Organic Strategies, Swaan Barrett provides coaching and consultation for Visionary Leaders and Value-based Cultures in Organizations. Michael Brehme is the Executive Chair of Typhoo Tea Ltd. As the co-founder of Clipper Teas, he worked in close collaboration with Fairtrade during its infancy to further the cause of right relationships with poorer workers.
