“STRENGTHENING THE HANDS OF THE NEW GROUP OF WORLD SERVERS”
Meditation is the primary form of service for those following a spiritual path. It is a means of cooperation and alignment with hierarchical intent. The new moon period follows upon the cycle of outbreathing in the rhythmic cycles of the breath; it is a time of pause wherein together we can establish a soul-mind-brain alignment. During this period we work in thought to concretize the ideas and impressions received at the time of the full moon period and undertake the sometimes difficult process of translating them into practical plans that can be of service in the world. The effect of this meditative effort is to enhance the many ways in which the “power of the one Life” and the “love of the one soul” are working out through all true servers everywhere. The meeting will be broadcast on ZOOM.
Service: Humanity’s Next Great Objective
The energies of illumination so potent at the Taurus full moon find expression as an all-pervasive love in Gemini, thus concluding the higher interlude of the spiritual year. The new moon which bridges between these two high points is an opportunity to reflect on the role that humanity must play in order to fulfill its role as a great spiritual center within the planetary whole.
Cooperation with the Law of Service is central to the fulfillment of this destiny. Service is the spontaneous effect of soul contact; it is the foremost quality of the soul and is rendered naturally when the soul consciousness flows unimpeded through the personality. Service is responsible for the unfolding of the consciousness of the heart which is the first step towards group awareness.
Service is also the means whereby the soul demonstrates in the world of human affairs; it is the technique of right group relations. Considered within the context of sociology, the Science of service supplies the missing key and provides direction, purpose, and creative potency to human activity and civilization.
Discussion Question:
- The right apprehension and expression of the law of service can be considered Humanity’s next great objective. Where do you see evidence of humanity assuming this responsibility, not necessarily through focused and stringent activity, but through the presence of the soul—its wise discernment and all-pervading love?
