Editorial - We, the Peoples
Implicit in the words is a paradigm shift away from personal entitlement – away from “Me and Mine” – and towards shared ownership – to “Us and Ours.” It is an affirmation of the fact that though the world may be divided into seven continents by Nature, and 195 countries by man, there is but one vast continent beneath this outer diversity, the continent of spirit in which “We the peoples” live and move and have our being.

Expanding Truth  - Djwhal Khul
There are many degrees and stages in this experience, and they cover many lives. The personality ray and the egoic ray at first seem to clash, and then later a steady warfare is set up with the disciple as the onlooker—and dramatic participator. Arjuna emerges into the arena of the battlefield. Midway between the two forces he stands, a conscious tiny point of sentient awareness and of light.

The Power of Ideas - A Student
The persistent practice of continuously re-directing the mind focus when gone astray (abhyâsa), done with a detached attitude (vairâgya) is Patanjali’s proposed way out of the problem of mental states. This has become especially meaningful today, when “the mind regarded as the best is that which can move most rapidly from one thing to another”, something so clearly foreseen by Mrs. Besant, even at a time when the era of computers and cell phones and the restlessness of modern cities was just beginning to dawn.

Transfiguration - Wendy Berg
The Transfiguration marks the stage in which the personality, when it has already achieved a significant integration of body, emotions and lower mind, becomes infused to the extent that it is substantially changed or transfigured with the power and qualities that characterise the Soul. Increasingly, the personality becomes subordinate to the Soul or ‘indwelling Christ.’ The light of the Soul shines through the personality. In Christ, this was achieved with complete purity

Pluto and Global Economics - Christine Aagaard
Humanity is entering a crucial period in its racial and planetary history where the force of first ray will on matter and on form is beginning to manifest. Until relatively recently human consciousness had not been adequately prepared for an inflow of this ray energy because there had been widespread ignorance as to the Plan. We can affirm for ourselves the truth that today the dim outlines of the Plan have penetrated into the consciousness of humanity. There are increasing numbers of people who are beginning to co-operate intelligently with it which has led to the steady appearance, gradually and cautiously applied, of the will energy of Shamballa.

A Student Prepares - John Rasmussen
Two complementary tasks are given to the student in order to prepare the way of the Lord. One is inward-facing; the other outward-facing. Loving God with all our heart, soul and mind is the inward-facing task. Speaking of exaltation beyond material awareness and even beyond soul consciousness, St. John of the Cross teaches the approach to the One Life: “Few there are with the knowledge and desire to enter into this supreme nakedness and emptiness of spirit.

The Heart Responds - Irene Campagnolo Maschio
Gratitude comes. Gratitude for all that exists, for the times I call hard and for those I call fun. Tolerance and patience I develop for myself. Time, space to experience; time, space to change. Opposites come together, no need to divide anymore.

Elves – A Brief Overview - Nigel Gray
According to the Tibetan, elves are nature spirits, forming a part of the Deva Evolution within the Plant and Vegetable Kingdom. Specifically, they are a part of the grouping called green devas of the etheric realm, who vitalise all within the 2nd Kingdom in nature. He describes … “the fairies of plant life, and the elves who build and paint the flowers”.1 Similarly William Bloom, a contemporary spiritual author, tells us that elves tend to the plants and bushes.

Sergei A. Schelkunoff – a Forerunner - Tom Sikina
One of the many subjects Dr. Schelkunoff studied, mastered, and offered to the world is the coaxial cable. During his time, engineers were rapidly discovering the advantages and challenges of high frequency waves and propagation. The means used to transfer the high frequency waves was a set of conducting wires, commonly called open-wire transmission line. This was also the method used to electrify houses and businesses during the early days of electrical distribution, with what is known today as knob and tube wiring. As a conduction path for low frequency waves this was effective, but problematic.
