Keynote Let the ‘Forces of Creative Life’ circulate and the Law of Elevation control

The Law of Group Progress... is sometimes called “the Law of Elevation” for it concerns the mysteries of group realisation, and expansions of consciousness and the part each unit plays in the general progress of a group. In relation to the human family, for instance, the truth must ever be borne in mind that no human atom arrives at “fullness of life” without adding much to the general nature of his own group.

A Taste for the High Life    Michael Brehme
“…taste is the great sense that begins to hold sway during the discriminating process that takes place when the illusory nature of matter is in process of realisation… As the sense of taste on the higher planes is developed, it leads one to ever finer distinctions till one is finally led through the form, right to the heart of one’s nature.” Michael Brehme is a Master Tea Taster and co-founder of Clipper Teas. He worked in close collaboration with Fairtrade during its infancy to further the cause of right relationships with poorer workers. Michael will be sharing his experiences as well as reflecting on the esoteric counterparts of taste and their unfoldment in humanity.

21st Century Healing and the Divine Circulatory Flow    A discussion with Dr. Shideh Pouria
The major key to good health is the unimpeded circulation of the soul’s energy throughout the mental, emotional and physical aspects of the human being and a conscious awareness of the Divine Circulatory Flow in which each person is a receiving and distributing centre. Shideh Pouria will be discussing this and examining modern health and healing from a scientific and esoteric perspective. She practices according to the principles of Environmental and Nutritional Medicine and helps her clients unravel the underlying reasons for their health issues in order to find their individualised path to recovery.

The Art of Spiralling - Panel   Kathy Newburn and Michael Galloway
“In no case is the truism of learning through a system of trial and error proved more
correct than it is in the life and experience of the accepting disciple.” It is through the
process of experiment, experience and expression that the disciple spirals forwards.
Each successive incarnation continues the experiment, deepens the experience and
relates the expression more closely to the latent unfolding divinity.

Service in a Crisis Zone: A Psychological Perspective from Hong Kong   Liz McCaughey
“The Principle of Conflict is today active in all nations, in all religions, in all organisations, leading to the emergence of the New Age. Conflict produces points of crisis, then a point of tension, and eventually a point of emergence.”

Liz McCaughey is a psychotherapist and counsellor based in Hong Kong as well as a Clinical Supervisor for Monash University. She will be discussing her professional and esoteric service work, as well as the experiences and insights that have shaped her world view.

White Magic and Education    Anne Woodward and Chris Noakes
Two students discuss the nature of magic and its relationship to the educational process. The etymological root of “magic” is the old Persian word magush, and the Indo-European root magh – “to be able, have power.” This defines the role that white magic will have in the education of the future, regardless of what the process is called.  It is the ability to “look without” and see the world clearly as it is. It is equally the ability to then “look within” and see that which is waiting in the subjective world to take the place of that which has run its course in the outer. At the midway point, the educated youth of tomorrow will use the power of creative concentration to bring this to fruition.
