The Christ’s Festival is the climax of the higher interlude of the spiritual year when the energies built up over the past months focus on the powerful approaching light of the Christ. It is also known as the Festival of Goodwill, and the Festival of Humanity. It takes place at the time of the full moon in Gemini. Of course, the Christ is always with us, but at this particular Festival he confers a special blessing on all of humanity. It is therefore a time for us to recognize the essential divinity of every human being, leading us to a renewal of the fiery expression of goodwill towards all life. If approached with reverence and an unshakeable conviction that the divine nature of man will triumph, the power of deep prayer and invocation will inevitably draw forth the Christ, the World Teacher.
In this pivotal year of 2025, the ‘Stage of the Forerunner’ is coming to a close. This cycle, initiated after the Great War, has been dominated by the experimental work of the New Group of World Servers, the global group of spiritually focused men and women of all religions and wisdom traditions. This group, functioning in all areas of human activity, has been working tirelessly to establish right human relations and to embody the will-to-good expressed through goodwill initiatives. The Christ is the leader of this group and “the teacher alike of angels and of men”.
The Christ’s Festival is also called the Festival of Unification, a celebration of the oneness and divinity of the human spirit. Christ in human form demonstrated a divinity that is possible for us all. Evidence for this can be seen now, in humanity as a whole, which is undergoing the initiation of the birth of the Christ Principle in the heart. This will slowly reveal qualities of the good, the beautiful and the true as humanity starts to move away from the current extreme materialism into the new Era when the Christ will stand before humanity as the Aquarian Avatar pouring out the water of life.
