Harmlessness is a virtue which is common to many religions, yet it is often misunderstood. It is much more than just a negative state of refraining from harming others. Beyond that, it also requires the formulation of a positive intention to do good, and the will to act and carry out that intention no matter what.

As many of us know, the Great Invocation is far more than it appears on the surface. In saying this, I do not in the least imply that what it appears to be on the surface is in any way to be disregarded or downplayed. The Great Invocation looks like and is a prayer, and if we take it seriously as a prayer we can actually learn to pray more effectively by using it.

The simple work of Triangles initiated by the Tibetan has an exceedingly deep purpose. He notes that “the function of Triangles is in reality to facilitate the work of distributing the pure incoming love energy (expressing itself as light and as goodwill) and emanating from the cosmic astral plane, through the heart of the Sun and into the Hierarchy and Humanity.”

As we move from the sign of Aquarius in to Pisces, the sign of the world saviour, the Christ and his role in the Aquarian Age becomes the focus. He will reappear and be recognised as ‘The Risen Christ’, ‘the Water-Carrier’ of Aquarius and the ‘Nourisher of the little ones’. His emphasis will be on the group, appearing as the supreme Head of the Spiritual Hierarchy and He will, we read, meet ‘the need of the thirsty nations of the world — thirsty for truth, for right human relations and for loving understanding’.
