The Circulation of Radiance - September 2021
Giving and receiving, also known as the divine circulatory flow, occurs on all levels of existence, from the purely physical aspect to the highest spiritual levels. Aligned with these higher levels, we prepare ourselves to receive the energies that we can then consciously distribute with our Triangles service. This is for the benefit of all and aids the establishment of a healthy balance between the receiving and the giving of spiritual energies.
Consciousness in general is also shared as social reality through the creation and narration of stories, such as those of religion and science, which are among those most prominent today. In fact, since science has a great influence in deciding the course of events, the accounts from the scientific community have profound social impact. For example, the concept of "the survival of the fittest" is sometimes seen as a justification for plundering the natural world. When accompanied by competitive and aggressive attitudes, this then leads to increasingly destructive activities that threaten ecosystems worldwide. On the other hand, symbiosis provides a positive example of the inner connectivity that sustains all creation. At an immature level of development, species compete aggressively to establish themselves, but this is temporary because they then learn to form collaborative alliances. In this way, they nurture and care for each other to form complex and stable ecosystems.
The Ageless Wisdom tells us that there is a continuous communion and conscious co-creation between all forms of life. This movement of spiritual energies relies on that which is received being freely shared and passed on, a circulation which benefits all. Our giving arises through the realization of our spiritual essence, the potential to enrich others and the environment. True giving comes from the Spirit, so we must keep the subjective bond alive to be able to make 'spiritual gifts'. Saint Francis of Assisi said, “For it is in giving that we receive”, and esoteric teachings add, “To those who give all, all is given”.
By aligning ourselves with our higher spiritual aspects in our Triangles service, we are endowed with their energies which are then distributed as light and goodwill, giving a light that turns on other lights. Arising from an inexhaustible source, such light is never lessened. The light and love of the soul are interwoven with the light and love of all our Triangle co-workers throughout the network and intensified in the world. Receiving and radiating light and goodwill to the whole Earth is a wonderful way to serve the divine plan and it fills our lives with joy.
