The Spiritual Perspectives Blog [ https://spiritualperspectives.online ] features reflections on human and world affairs. It is a resource for an unfolding, holistic worldview. New blog posts on human affairs are added monthly, and many ideas are drawn from the Alice A. Bailey teachings, from visionary thinkers, and from the sacred scriptures of the East and West.

Triangles Service in Vietnam: Triangles materials and Alice Bailey’s books were introduced into Vietnam before 1975 via a student of esoteric philosophy. Due to social events however, they almost fell into oblivion until the 1980s, when Mr. Phan Ngoc-Trai, the current organiser of the group, found them by chance.

In the first reading of Triangles papers, especially the Triangles folder, he found something that could be used as a mode of simple service. Thus, its translation was made, and it was circulated among his friends, and later the English versions were used by other students.

As a result, several Triangles units were formed and worked in eagerness. However, after a time, some stopped working due to the death of some members or for other reasons. Only a few of these original Triangles continued up to the present but some members had formed Triangles with foreign and domestic co-workers. At the same time, certain Alice Bailey books were translated into Vietnamese; and one by one, these translations were later sub-published in Vietnam under contracts signed with Lucis Trust Geneva and permits issued by local authorities.

Thanks to the circulation of the Vietnamese versions, the number of readers gradually increased. And during recent years, the Triangles service has received a new impetus: this and other spiritual services were presented to many youths. These services included meditations at the full moon and new moon, the Sunday meditation on money, the Thursday meditations on preparation for the reappearance of The Christ, and the five o’clock linking. Since then, several units of service have been formed and worked regularly in a free and spontaneous manner. At the same time, the use of The Great Invocation as an act of world service, its Reader’s Digest 1991 reprint, and introduction to the above translations, were included in a small bilingual book for the public, Secret of Living Happily Right Now and Forever. Tran Chau. 2010. Now, there is a circle of youthful people interested and regularly taking part in the above-mentioned services and the study of spiritual teachings, a stable and growing development.
