The Radiance Of Inner Light - December 2021
At this time of the year, the energies of lighted goodwill become abundantly available and effervescent. This characteristic emanation of the holiday season allows doors to open, new solutions to be found and the healing of divisions. Amidst the tumult of the world, the annual influence of Sagittarius with its arrows of the intuition brings a sense of direction from the higher realms, and its ebullient nature encourages a keen expectation for the greater light which is to yet to come. Even as the sun hovers low at the winter solstice and the darkness of the outer world crowds in, an inner light ever holds the promise of renewal and the hope of joy.
Considered esoterically, joy is not the same as the happiness of celebrations or the fulfillment of desires. Happiness and joy can occur simultaneously when the outer world converges with spiritual consciousness, but they are different qualities, independent of each other. And while the expression of joy can be facilitated by favorable outer events and seasons, the presence of joy is not dependent upon external conditions. Instead, joy arises through transformations within the inner realms of being when the group consciousness of the soul and its joyful nature are known. Then when the soul controls the personality, even if only for a moment, this inner light of soul consciousness reveals itself in service, displaying the radiance of joy, and touching the lives of others.
Even where it is least expected, joy exists, and it is remarkable that individuals and groups who have suffered immensely may radiate joy most clearly. Often through the force of circumstance, soul consciousness is cultivated, and it transforms perception as well as the values that define and empower outer service. The potential of the moment is then revealed, and one finds the power to live more fully within it. Through pondering on joy, happiness and bliss, it is possible to release the channels of the inner life and to reach out to others. Not only at this holiday season, but more broadly at this time within the greater planetary cycle, the opportunity is now. No matter what is transpiring in the outer world, the new group of world servers everywhere are drawing upon the radiance of this inner light to prepare the way ahead by holding an enlightened vision of the future before humanity.
