Triangles work has become the most important spiritual service that I perform. It is how I begin and end my day.

Yes, the search for God has only just begun. We in the Triangles Groups should be motivated to carry on with the work which is entrusted to us. We need not relax at all. The changes which are taking place everywhere in the world are clear signs showing that the Great Ones are on our side. We must not allow distractions to disturb us. The ‘Consuming Fire’ is at work. We must not at all allow this Fire to be quenched through discouragement and setbacks. Yes, the search for God has just begun. We must keep it up through our noble Work.

On reflection the Triangles work is an exercise and training in “self-forgetfulness, harmlessness, and right speech” – the three attitudes that the disciple strives to attain and maintain throughout the 24-hour cycle.

By focusing on the Triangle as one creative unit the individual self is forgotten in favour of the purpose of the one soul. The application of intention through service to the light renders a harmless channel into which light, love and power are irresistibly drawn. The saying of the Great Invocation and the sounding of the ‘OM’ is one of the highest and purest uses of language and ‘right speech’ – three people, three sacred attitudes, three OMs. One Work.

The true purpose of humanity is to distribute the energy of its spirit to its surroundings. Working in groups toward this purpose will increase the effect of the energy distribution in geometrical progression. A group of three acts as a lens that has a magnifying power much higher than the lens of the individual acting alone.

Triangles is the key and cornerstone of all the work, the building block upon which all other work can proceed and we are told that it is close to the heart of Hierarchy. It is the open door to the worldwide work and the living network of light around the world, thus enabling light to descend on Earth.

The work of Triangles is group work and it is a service which reaches to the inner essence and heart of divinity within the triangle, from which it builds right human relations and reaches out to the worldwide network, enabling the will-to-good to stream forth in greater livingness into human hearts. Triangles uses the will energy in order to strengthen the inner flame within the triangle, which, in turn adds strength and power to the network which together with the energies of light and love creates a living synthesis of light around the world.

Every triangle of light and goodwill is a Creation which remains planted on the inner and etheric side of life. They are left to do their own work even when we are not concentrating or thinking about what has been built, not least because the circulatory and rhythmic effect takes place on the inner as well as the outer planes. Because of the anonymity of the work, and rightly so, it is easy to lose the practical value and vision of why we engage in this work. These words serve to remind: “The function of these Triangles is in reality to facilitate the work of distributing the pure incoming love energy (expressing itself as light and as goodwill) into the Hierarchy and Humanity”.

Triangles is a Science, associated with the Science of Impression. While it has its emotional component, as well as its mental “horizontal” component, it likewise has a vertical component that will make use of the emotional component for recognition and widespread appeal, but likewise for “practical” application.

In the Scientific American article of July 2008, “The Self-Organizing Quantum”, the authors propose the theory of “Causal Dynamical Triangulations”: “This approach...is a modern version of the Euclidean approach. It approximates spacetime as a mosaic of triangles, which have a built-in distinction between space and time.
