Meditation is the primary form of service for those following a spiritual path. It is a means of cooperation and alignment with hierarchical intent. The new moon period follows upon the cycle of out-breathing in the rhythmic cycles of the breath; it is a time of pause wherein together we can establish a soul-mind-brain alignment.  During this period we work in thought to concretize the ideas and impressions received at the time of the full moon period and undertake the sometimes difficult process of translating them into practical plans that can be of service in the world. The effect of this meditative effort is to enhance the many ways in which the “power of the one Life” and the “love of the one soul” are working out through all true servers everywhere. The meeting will include an exploration on the theme Truth: A Perennial Dilemma, followed by meditation and group discussion. Truth: A Perennial Dilemma

The Ageless Wisdom teachings provide an epistemological foundation which posits seven keys by which reality (truth) can be understood. This perennial philosophy is consistent with hylozoism, the belief that all matter is alive both in and of itself and as animated by a superior principle, the Anima Mundi or World-Soul—i.e., what esotericism calls ‘the Life and the lives’. Truth therefore is conceptualized as both absolute (unknowable, beyond human comprehension) and relative (partial, cognized and expressed in form). The scientific, philosophical, and theological strands of human thought approach the same fundamental and universal truths but from different angles. The Ageless Wisdom unites these robust but necessarily limited doctrines into a comprehensive and unified theory.

Today, humanity faces crises of truth at many levels precipitated by a confluence of factors, among them: a growing recognition of the deceptive and illusive nature of the ideologies and structures of our modern world; a nascent awakening to the self-delusions inherent in one’s lower nature; a growing spiritual aspiration which demands cooperation with the universal laws which govern one’s higher nature. This meeting will examine these crises and what aid the Ageless Wisdom teachings can offer.
