During World Goodwill’s recent Cycle of Conferences visualization initiative in September, seeds of living will energy were imaginatively projected into the Transforming Education Summit at the United Nations General Assembly. The initiative marked an attempt by an esoteric group to enter into the heart of the thoughtform under construction at the Summit, identifying in the thinking of Summit participants universal principles outlined by wisdom teachings throughout the ages; and then, through a process sometimes referred to as ‘subtle activism’, ‘seeing’ these principles being energized by the ‘group gaze’.

In tandem with the high-level week at the United Nations came the Transforming Education Summit. Though not explicitly related to the crises and discussions of world leaders, it was immediately clear that education is related indirectly to nearly all facets of human living—its problems and their solutions.
2022 ΟΗΕ Σύνοδος Κορυφής για τον Μετασχηματισμό της Εκπαίδευσης - Εκδηλώσεις της Ημέρας των Λύσεων
Η Hμέρα Λύσεων για τον Μετασχηματισμό της Εκπαίδευσης, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Νέα Υόρκη από 15 έως 19 Σεπτεμβρίου 2022, επικεντρώθηκε σε πρωτοβουλίες που βρίσκονται ήδη σε εξέλιξη ή στα στάδια του σχεδιασμού. Μετά από μια εναρκτήρια συνεδρίαση της ολομέλειας, πραγματοποιήθηκαν πενήντα εκδηλώσεις κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας. Όλες οι εκδηλώσεις των Λύσεων διοργανώθηκαν από τουλάχιστον τρεις φορείς και από τουλάχιστον δύο διαφορετικά κράτη μέλη, σε μια προσπάθεια να ενισχυθεί η διαφορετικότητα.

Σύμφωνα με τα λόγια της Αμίνα Μοχάμετ, Αναπληρώτριας Γενικής Γραμματέως του ΟΗΕ, η φετινή Σύνοδος Κορυφής για τον Μετασχηματισμό της Εκπαίδευσης του ΟΗΕ ήταν μια μοναδική εκδήλωση για τον τελευταίο αιώνα, καθώς συγκέντρωσε αρχηγούς κρατών, σημαντικούς παράγοντες στην εκπαίδευση, κυβερνητικούς και μη-κυβερνητικούς και εκπροσώπους της νεολαίας. Η δομή της Συνόδου Κορυφής που κάλυψε τρεις ημέρες ξεκινώντας με την Ημέρα Κινητοποίησης την οποία οργάνωσε και διαχειρίστηκε η νεολαία, προχωρώντας στην Ημέρα των Λύσεων, ενορχηστρωμένη από μείζονες φορείς της εκπαίδευσης και κλείνοντας με την Ημέρα Ηγεσίας, με την συμμετοχή αρχηγών κρατών, σηματοδότησε την πρόθεση του ΟΗΕ να εμπλέξει την νεολαία πιο ενεργά στην διαδικασία χάραξης πολιτικής, καθώς τα μελλοντικά αποτελέσματα οποιασδήποτε πολιτικής που αποφασίζεται σήμερα αφορούν κυρίως αυτήν.
Five Rays of Hope Stream from the UN
On November 17th, 2021, the President of the General Assembly met, for the first time in 20 months, with Civil Society representatives. The group was purposely kept small, but relief and gratitude showed on the faces of both moderators and participants as they engaged once again in an in-person setting.
President Abdulla Shahid set the tone for this return by sharing his vision statement entitled “Presidency of Hope: Delivering for People, for the Planet and for Prosperity.” Within this statement he included what he called the “Five Rays of Hope”, inviting five separate Civil Society organizations to offer five short keynote statements addressing these Rays.
