What does it mean to describe oneself as a human being? Why a being and not a doing? Surely we spend most of our lives doing things, therefore would it not be more accurate to describe ourselves as such? If we look at the etymology of the word 'human' it derives from an Indo European word ‘ghoman’ which means 'of the earth' or 'earthling'. A synonym for garden compost is humus which is derived from the same root word. We are therefore creatures of the earth in these terms - earth beings. We are part of the natural world intrinsically as humans. And we be and dwell as such to be fully human

To my knowledge, Triangles materials and A.A.B.’s books were introduced into Vietnam before 1975, via Mr. Ngo Thanh Ha, an Arcane School student and a late friend of mine. After that, due to social events, the books almost fell into oblivion until the 1980s when I received them from him by chance. In my first reading of the Triangles papers, especially the Triangles folder, I thought it should be used as a mode of simple service. Thus, its translation was made and circulated among my circle of friends, and later the English version and papers were used by certain new A.S. students.

The Tibetan says it is the outstanding ray of the artist, but then he goes on to say the arts are found along all the ray lines...so what is it? According to the teachings, the fourth ray is due to come into full potency in the coming two hundred years or so. At the moment, we are walking in a fourth ray “buffet” due to the multiple tensions operating to render a world in crisis.

These sharings are an attempt to convey varying gradations of the fourth ray in action. In its rawest form, it may drive tectonic plates to shift; in its most refined expression it is the adroit tailoring of outer manifestation to the inner inspiration.

Young officers arriving for the first time at their new home among the rice fields of India during the British occupation, or in the heat and dust of a desert cantonment, would commonly be told by some well-meaning old India hand, that if they wished to grasp the essence of the eastern tradition, they should read one book, the Mahabharata, by far the world’s oldest and largest epic poem, and with 100000 verses, exceeding the Bible and all Shakespeare’s plays bundled together. The Mahabharata was called “The Fifth Veda”. As a jewel within the heart,  lies the Bhagavad Gita, in itself a chapter of this epic poem.
