Spiritual aspirants are of course, concerned with contacting the divine kingdom. We are therefore not only concerned with our teachers in material manifestation but also those on the inner planes. In aspiring to soul consciousness, the indwelling Christ becomes the predominant teacher and the attainment of Christ consciousness becomes the goal. As we strive in this way, we become aware of the great hierarchy of consciousness that exists within the soul realms, the many Teachers that abide on these levels.

If you allow me, I would like to start this talk with this phrase from Esoteric Astrology:

 “Shirk not these crises, hard and difficult though they may appear to be. Difficult they are. Forget not that the habit of confronting crises, is a long-established one within the consciousness of humanity. Man has the "habit of crisis", if I may so call it. They are only the points of examination as to the strength, purpose, purity and motive and the intent of the soul. They evoke confidence when surmounted, and produce greatly expanded vision. They foster compassion and understanding, for the pain and inner conflict they have engendered is never forgotten, for they draw upon the resources of the heart. They release the light of wisdom within the field of knowledge, and the world is thereby enriched”.

Aquarius is one of the three air signs – air standing for the thinking principle or mind. Aquarius is par excellence the paradigm of the World Server and this brings to mind the use of the two hands as a symbol of sharing and offering service in the threefold needy and thirsty world.

The astrological symbol of Aquarius is “two horizontal wavy lines” – “two waves”, sweeping our little planet with “the waters of life”. The scientific art of weaving in “mental matter” (between the two waves) lies in humanity’s agility to recreate the planetary garment/fabric with etheric substance and threads of living light and goodwill.

Ancient people were great observers.  They saw symbols and patterns in all things and they were keen students of the heavenly movements, over long periods of time.  And they correlated the movements in heaven with outer events here below and as they did they came to understand what these movements meant when they reappeared at another time. And that which is true of the collective humanity likewise finds parallels in our own lives and we are challenged therefore to meet these planetary changes with corresponding changes within our own lives.

Each week we gather together, Triangles members from around the world, and share an opportunity to affect an alignment between the inner and outer worlds. We create a channel for light and goodwill, which are an expression of the energy of Love, the predominant energy controlling our entire solar system, and through this means we help to raise the vibration of planet Earth and contribute to the task before our Logos in bringing about, on the outer planes, the manifestation of a sacred planet. That intention aligns with the intention underlying the work of Triangles for, as you know, a sacred planet is one that is surrounded by a network of Triangles, a planet in which the soul is expressing itself. And no matter what ray we might find ourselves on as individuals, no matter what we might be here to manifest, all rays in this system are sub-rays of the overriding synthetic energy of great Second Ray of Love-Wisdom. We can see, therefore, how the core of our work in Triangles emanates from the heart of our group, the underlying soul and, through this means provides us with a direct line of approach to the Christ Himself, the World Teacher, who is of course found at the heart of Hierarchy and is the preeminent Teacher along the second ray line.
